Sziget Festival Announces New Names: Bring Me The Horizon, Zara Larsson, Parcels & More
- 3 Feb 2026 12:42 PM
Just a few weeks ago, the story of Sziget 2026 began with the announcement of the festival’s return and an exciting first wave of artists. Today, the organisers added a fresh new mix of names.
British rock heavyweights Bring Me The Horizon are set to return to The Island of Freedom. Also announced is Zara Larsson; the Swedish pop singer will play the festival’s opening day.
New additions to the line-up include Parcels, Wolf Alice and Nation of Language, with their different sides of indie music. They are joined by Argy, one of the biggest techno DJs of the moment, as well as British hip-hop artist Loyle Carner, Australian singer-songwriter Chet Faker and modern pop artist Naïka.
More electronic music has been added: Nia Archives with her jungle and drum and bass sound, hard techno DJ Sara Landry and minimal techno pioneer Richie Hawtin. Sub Focus and Dimension will also bring their high-energy drum and bass sound to Budapest.
Sziget CEO Tamás Kádár comments on the newly announced wave of artists: “It’s a really exciting mix of names. Alongside internationally well-known acts, we also like to invite the very best of Hungarian music, with artists such as Beton.Hofi and Mehringer.
We also showcase acts that are huge in their own countries, like Dutch rapper Sef. And there’s much more to come, across the rest of our programme as well.”
Sziget Festival is known for its broad and diverse musical offering, including major artists who may not yet be widely known internationally but have a huge impact in their home countries. This diversity creates countless unexpected moments for the audience.
Alongside the names, Sziget offers a rich cultural programme, with more acts and performances to be announced later this year, including its renowned circus, theatre, art and dance programme.
Over five days, festivalgoers from all over the world can explore a rich and varied programme throughout their festival holiday, with cultural spaces, art installations, workshops and much more. That Sziget is about more than the line-up will be familiar to anyone who has visited before.
It’s a place where people from all over the world come together, meet, connect and make friends for life, transforming Budapest’s Óbuda Island into one of the most colourful, open and vibrant meeting points of the summer. Sziget Festival returns from 11–15 August 2026.
With the announcement of these new acts, 3-Day Passes are now on sale.
