Hollywood Vampires Budapest Aréna 8 September
Back in the 1970s, a notorious circle of rock and roll icons regularly tore through the bars of Los Angeles into the early hours of the morning, calling themselves the Hollywood Vampires.

Helmed by Alice Cooper, this elite drinking club counted the likes of Harry Nilsson, John Lennon, Ringo Starr, Keith Moon, and Micky Dolenz among its ranks. Their legendary exploits became the stuff of rock folklore, even if the finer details of those nocturnal escapades often blurred into late-night oblivion.

Four decades later, Alice Cooper resurrected the Hollywood Vampires moniker to form a classic rock supergroup alongside Aerosmith's Joe Perry and Hollywood star Johnny Depp.

True to the collaborative spirit of the original 1970s pack, the trio invited an absolute constellation of fellow stars to contribute to the band’s self-titled 2015 debut album.

The heavyweight guest list included Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl, Slash, Joe Walsh, Perry Farrell, AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson, The Doors guitarist Robby Krieger, and Kip Winger. The powerhouse record comfortably cracked the Top 50 on the Billboard 200 chart and launched a massive global tour.

In 2019, Cooper, Depp, and Perry reassembled for their sophomore studio effort, titled Rise. Moving away from covers to showcase largely original material, the album featured standout cameos from guitar virtuoso Jeff Beck and iconic filmmaker John Waters, who both joined forces on the track "Welcome to Bushwackers."

By 2023, while fans awaited further new studio recordings, the band treated their following to their very first live album, Live in Rio.

Produced by the legendary Bob Ezrin, the high-octane performance was captured back in 2015 at the colossal Rock in Rio festival, where the supergroup commanded the stage before an unforgettable crowd of 100,000 music fans.
