Lorna Shore, Budapest Aréna, 29 January
Lorna Shore just wrapped a successful European festival run: after the American band tore through the stages at Hellfest, Rock am Ring, and Rock im Park, they've now announced a European headliner tour.

They're returning to cities across the continent and the UK on increasingly larger venues, thanks in part to their stellar lineup: Whitechapel, Shadow of Intent, and Humanity’s Last Breath join them. They'll play Budapest on January 29, 2026, at Papp László Budapest Sportaréna.

Lorna Shore is charging ahead with unstoppable momentum this year too: their new album, I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me, drops on Century Media in September, set to be another milestone in pushing the boundaries of modern extreme metal.

Their recent shows have drawn tens of thousands, earning them a spot as one of the genre's most important and ambitious acts. This tour announcement will only build on that momentum.

Formed in 2009, Lorna Shore embodies a 21st-century band: viral Spotify hits, hundreds of millions of streams, sold-out tours, and a growing, dedicated fanbase. Hailing from New Jersey, the band has redefined extreme metal limits with each release, and they're aiming to do it again with this fall's follow-up to 2022's Pain Remains. Check out the Unbreakable video from I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me.

Joining them is Whitechapel, formed in Knoxville in 2006, with its core lineup unchanged since 2007 (except drummer Brandon Zackey, who joined in 2022). Their latest album, Hymns In Dissonance, came out on Metal Blade Records in spring 2024 and hit multiple Billboard charts right away.

Their sound reps the darker, brutal side of deathcore, packed with technical riffs, heavy breakdowns, and intense growls:

Also on the bill: Shadow of Intent, started in 2014 by Ben Duerr and Chris Wiseman in Connecticut, USA. With four self-released albums, they've become innovators in modern metal, blending deathcore, black metal, and symphonic/progressive elements. Their fifth album, Imperium Delirium, dropped in June via Blood Blast Distribution, featuring Mechanical Chaos.

Swedish openers Humanity’s Last Breath, formed by Buster Odelholm (Vildhjarta, Thrown) and Filip Danielsson, mix deathcore, djent, doom metal, and blackened death metal. Their polyrhythmic tricks often draw Meshuggah comparisons.

The Budapest show is January 29, 2026, at Papp László Budapest Sportaréna. General ticket sales start July 18 at 11 AM, but nuskull.hu readers get presale July 17 at 11 AM.
