My wife Sue, 14 year old daughters, Jen and Kim and our Westie Cooper moved here in August 2007 from Dallas, Texas.

I'm a Certified Public Accountant and have spent most of my career working for multi-national companies and have traveled extensively for business and pleasure. We are enjoying our time in Hungary."

1. When did you arrive in Hungary and what brought you here?
August 2007. My mission here was to build and operate a Financial Shared Services Center for Celanese, a global manufaturer of specialty chemicals. I currently employ 165 people in Budapest.

2. Have you ever been an expatriate elsewhere?
I spent a year in Frankfurt Germany in 2000/2001.

3. What surprised you most about Hungary?
The American International School of Budapest is a tremendous school.

4. Friends are in Budapest for a weekend - what must they absolutely see and do?
The view from Gellert Hill and touring the city at night.

5. What is your favourite Hungarian food?
Veal stew with noodles and sour cream

6. What is never missing from your refrigerator?
Ketchup, yogurt, peanut butter and jelly

7. What is your favourite Hungarian word?
Boldog

8. What do you miss the most from home?
Manhattan and the Jersey Shore

9. What career other than yours would you love to pursue?
Singing and acting

10. What's a job you would definitely never want?
Garbage collector

11. Where did you spend your last vacation?
Tuscany

12. Where do you hope to spend your next one?
Greek Islands

13. What was your favourite band, film, or hobby as a teen?
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band...I've seen them 33 times!

14. What can't you resist?
Oreos

15. Red wine or white?
Red

16. Book or movie?
Book

17. Morning person or night person?
Morning

18. Dog person or cat person?
Dog...we have a Westie named Cooper

19. Buda side or Pest side?
I live on Buda but prefer Pest

20. What would you say is your personal motto?
Anything is possible if you work hard and use your brain.
