According to their credo the city itself is just the scene in the theatre called Budapest– the real forming force is the human individual adding character, gossips, urban legends and physical beauties to the concrete jungle called Budapest. Mixing a pinch of art history with a good spoonful of city history topped by month long research prior to the tours, Imagine Budapest has created a recipe for success. This blend will bring the city alive for all participants crossing boundaries of time and space.

Marton joined to the team about a year ago and he is cordinating the tours from the “backstage”.

1. Where did you grow up?
I was born and grew up in Budapest, and still this is the place, where I fell myself home.

2. If you could be an expat anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
I am really curious on Australia.

3. What would you miss most if you moved away from Hungary?
Actually I was away for three years in Dublin. The thing, that I missed most is the city itself, the atmosphere, the smells, the people.

4. Friends are in Budapest for a weekend - what must they absolutely see and do?
Come an Imagine Budapest thematic sightseeing tour! That could show them everything what is not in the guide books!

5. What is your favourite food?
It’s changing now. But I think pancake is unbeatable!

6. What is your favourite sport / form of exercise?
Well, I am 1.98 cm tall, so no surprise: basketball.

7. What is your favourite place in Hungary?
Budapest and lake Balaton, can’t choose between them.

8. What career other than yours would you love to pursue?
I would try to be a doctor or a dentist.

9. What’s a job you would definitely never want?
Well, I am a curious person, so I think there is no such a job.

10. Where did you spend your last vacation?
I’ve been on a trip in Italy and Croatia. Was fun! We have been in Venice and Rovinj, had a great boat trip and we were lying on the beach a lot!

11. Where do you hope to spend your next one?
Cuba. Before Fidel Castro die. I do not know why, but I think that would be a really interesting country now.

12. What was your favourite band, film, or hobby as a teen?
Godfather, and soccer of course.

13. What can’t you resist?
Well, I can resist everything, but my stomach…:-)

14. Red wine or white?
White for a spitzer, red as a wine.

15. Book or movie?
More book than movie.

16. Morning person or night person?
Evening person. I love the atmosphere of the city at night! When the people are going out for a drink or to the theather and all of the city is full of energy than.

17. Which social issue do you feel most strongly about?
Famine is really sad part of the world. Millions of people have nothing to eat, and on the same time we just throw away 
the leftovers…

18. Buda or Pest side?
Buda

19. Which achievement in your life are you most pleased about?
I think to bulid up a company, like Imagine Budapest, is the think what we can be proud of.
