Eva is a marketing professional who studied marketing and advertising at New York University and completed her college degree in management at Norwalk Community College in the United States.

She worked for many international organizations for over ten years, holding different marketing and management positions.

1. Where were you born and when did you arrive in Hungary?
I was born and raised in Transylvania and I moved to Hungary in 1993 right after my High School graduation.

2. Have you ever been an expatriate elsewhere?
Yes, I lived in England for about six month and in the United States for ten years.

3. What surprised you most about Hungary?
People surprised me the most in Hungary, how selfish, careless and negative they are at times. On a positive note, I was delighted about the Hungarian cuisine and the wonderful spas.

4. Friends are in Budapest for a weekend - what must they absolutely see and do?
I would defenitely take them to a great spa and show them the Castle and the Halász Bástya. In addition, I would take them to a nice restaurant such as Gundel Restaurant.

5. What is your favourite Hungarian food?
Goulash soup and Gundel palacsinta.

6. What is never missing from your refrigerator?
Winter salami and túró rudi.

7. What is your favourite Hungarian word?
Pillangó.

8. What do you miss the most from home?
Mostly, I miss the beautiful nature along with my family and friends.

9. What career other than yours would you love to pursue?
If I had a great voice, I would love to be a singer.

10. What's a job you would definitely never want?
I can do anything whatever life brings me, each job has its challenges and beauty.

11. Where did you spend your last vacation?
In United States and Netherlands.

12. Where do you hope to spend your next one?
In United States and Greece.

13. What was your favourite band, film, or hobby as a teen?
My favourite band was The Beatles, my favourite movie was Gone by the wind and my hobby was playing tennis.

14. Apart of temptation what can't you resist?
A cup of coffee with a good company.

15. Red wine or white?
Rosé.

16. Book or movie?
It depends on my mood but movie can be more entertaining.

17. Morning person or night person?
I’m more productive during the day.

18. Which social issue do you feel most strongly about?
Women’s rights; such as breaking the glass ceiling and equality, reproductive health and violence against women.

19. Buda side or Pest side?
Pest side. I love to look at the hills of Buda.

20. What would you say is your personal motto?
Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile.
