XpatLoop Interview: Dr. László András, Professional Orvosi Kft.
I was born in 1949, Budapest, and studied there as well. I started off as a pathologist then became an internist and ended up as a gastroenterology specialist.

After graduating, I worked at the University of Semmelweis' third Department of Internal Medicine, followed by the Kútvölgyi hospital, ORFI , then back to Semmelweis and currently work there too, leading the Gastroenterology Clinic.

Besides, I work in private practice at Professional Orvosi Kft where gastroenterology related exams are possible, along with abdominal ultrasound and endoscopic examinations (Gastroscopy and Gastrointestinal Endoscopy) which can be done with general anesthesia. I have held numerous lectures and written scientific articles, and received my PhD in 1999. I can speak English and German.
