My name is Ioana Daraban, I am 25 years old and living in the city of my dreams, Budapest.

I have a passion for helping people, art and creation, travelling and adventure.

My mission in life is to be an example of wellness, kindness and happiness so I can inspire others to do the same.

1. When did you arrive in Hungary and what brought you here?
I arrived in Hungary two and a half years ago. I came because some years before I fell in love with Budapest and dreamed to live and work here.

2. Have you ever been an expatriate elsewhere?
No, it is my first experience.

3. What surprised you most about Hungary?
The pride how Hungarians take their uniqueness. It is inspiring.

4. Friends are in Budapest for a weekend - what must they absolutely see and do?
Hop-on bus is a must! New York cafe and the view from the castle .

5. What is your favourite Hungarian food?
Chicken stew with galuska (dumplings).

6. What is never missing from your refrigerator?
Cheese

7. What is your favourite Hungarian word?
Kedves (kind)

8. What do you miss the most from home?
My family.

9. What career other than yours would you love to pursue?
Acting.

10. What's a job you would definitely never want?
Accountant.

11. Where did you spend your last vacation?
South of Italy.

12. Where do you hope to spend your next one?
Las Vegas, I want to see Jenifer Lopez perform.

13. What was your favourite band, film, or hobby as a teen?
Michael Jackson, Gone with the wind and a hobby I can say adventure seeking.

14. Apart of temptation what can't you resist?
A good business opportunity.

15. Red wine or white?
Red wine.

16. Book or movie?
Book.

17. Morning person or night person?
Night person.

18. Which social issue do you feel most strongly about?
Discrimination.

19. Buda side or Pest side?
Pest.

20. What would you say is your personal motto?
Everything comes to you in the right time. Be patient, be grateful.
