"I am a lawyer and live / work in Budapest together with my family. We are happy here and look forward living/working in Budapest.

I am bilingual in Russian and Kazakh and speak many other languages due to moving around the world too many times :)

I love sports / cross-fit / bodybuilding by making impossible possible, train not only my body but mind to feel totally fit, not just because I look good but because it makes me happy, and healthy of course.

1. When did you arrive in Hungary and what brought you here?
I arrived to Hungary last year October and originally it was my husband’s job that brought our family here, but then prior to moving, I got employed by one of the leading law firms in Hungary.

2. Have you ever been an expatriate elsewhere?
Yes of course, I am a third culture kid J Switzerland, England, Mexico, Germany, Australia and now Hungary

3. What surprised you most about Hungary?
Sunny weather, kind/helpful people, great quality peppers and the amount of great restaurants /bars in Budapest

4. Friends are in Budapest for a weekend - what must they absolutely see and do?
Margaret Island followed by a Football game at the stadium and then gathering for nice yummy dinner at one of the greatest restaurants in Budapest, I love Hachapuri for example.

5. What is your favourite Hungarian food?
Töltött Káposzta, Töltött Paprika, Rántott Sajt, Madártej

6. What is never missing from your refrigerator?
Tro Rudi, cottage cheese , turkey/chicken breast and peppers of course, how can you not eat them ! they are so tasty in this country!!!

7. What is your favourite Hungarian word?
Alma ( because Kazakh language has the same word and the meaning –Apple) there are many more words that are like in Kazakh language but this was the first word I heard upon my arrival in Hungary and I was happy to relate!

8. What do you miss the most from home?
Oh God from which home? from Germany –kebab, from Switzerland – cheese , from England –Sunday roast and of course from Kazakhstan – horse meat –oh no are we still talking about food? J

9. What career other than yours would you love to pursue?
Family business in sports/nutrition/healthcare

10. What's a job you would definitely never want?
Technician? and anything that kills

11. Where did you spend your last vacation?
Greece

12. Where do you hope to spend your next one?
Malaysia - Langkawi

13. What was your favourite band, film, or hobby as a teen?
Basketball;Russian kids short movies-“Eralash”;dance of course since i was a newborn I thinkJ

14. Apart of temptation what can't you resist?
Nice tasty cake and I love cakes and desserts in Hungary so it is very hard for me and is very tempting

15. Red wine or white?
White

16. Book or movie?
Book back then and now movie with our work/sports/family/kids lifestyle easier to shut down

17. Morning person or night person?
Night person

18. Which social issue do you feel most strongly about?
I strongly disagree and feel devastated with the results/damage caused by religious wars

19. Buda side or Pest side?
Buda

20. What would you say is your personal motto?
Once you control your mind, you can conquer your body
