Gáspár Bálint, Managing Director of Vitéz Kürtös (Company Behind Chimney Cake Festival in Budapest)
He was born in 1976 in Székelyudvarhely (Odorheiu Secuiesc) in Transylvania, and he studied fine mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, graduating in 1999. He comes from a family with deep roots in the making of traditional Transylvanian chimney cake (kürtőskalács) — his grandmother, Irma Simó, used to bake and sell kürtőskalács and kürtősfánk at open pools and spas on weekends.
