Last weekend the Hungexpo in Budapest hosted one of the largest car tuning shows in Europe. For the uninitiated a car tuning show is not like your average car-show, think more "Pimp my Ride" than Geneva! Car tuning means the car has been modified, either cosmetically or performance wise and some of the cars on show had to be seen to be believed and a lot of the time you are asking yourself one ...

Eurovision 2015: Hungary’s Boggie Finishes In 20th Place

Hungarian contestant Boglárka Csemer – a. k. a. Boggie – finished in twentieth place with her song “Wars For Nothing” at the finals of the sixtieth Eurovision Song Festival held in Vienna, Austria, yesterday evening. The contest was won by Swedish performer Måns Zelmerlöw’s song Heroes. Hungary received 19 points, while the winning Sweden got 365.

1956 is undoubtedly a significant date in the history of Hungary. “The Last Train to Budapest” is a personal account of what you read in the history books about this era. The Budapest premier of the film was on Saturday at the Toldi cinema, where a select few gathered, some that actually went through similar experiences.
