Parliament voted to phase out the state subsidy on deposits with home savings banks. The motion was passed in an expedited procedure with a vote of 125 in favour, 49 against and no abstentions.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) raised its projection for Hungary’s GDP growth this year to 4% in its fresh World Economic Outlook. The projection was raised from 3.8% in a forecast released in April, but is still under the government’s official target for 4.3% growth.

Update: The body was recently identified as William Sinclair, 48, grandson of UK Liberal party leader. He'd lived with prostitute dominatrix Natalie Rowe, aka Mistress Pain, who he had a child with before his life took a darker turn.
