New Cemetery (Újköztemetõ)

Budapest’s largest cemetery (about 207 hectares) and one of the largest in Europe; around 3 million burials since 1886.
Still very much in active use (7–8,000 burials per year).
Contains the 1956 Memorial (Parcella 301) and other political/historical sections.
Has a small “train” shuttle in peak periods (e.g. around All Saints’ Day).
