A commemorative envelope marking the 25th anniversary of Hungary and Israel re-establishing diplomatic relations was presented at the foreign ministry on Tuesday. State secretary of foreign affairs and trade László Szabó said that when Hungary was forced to cut diplomatic relations with Israel, the move caused much damage to cooperation between the two nations and to economic links.

Tickets will be available for purchase from Monday morning at the touch-screen terminals of major docking-stations and the MOL Bubi website, while passes go on sale at BKK’s customer service centres.

The Albanian Embassy and Hungarian dignitaries unveiled a statue of Mother Teresa in Budapest on Friday to mark Day of International Charity. “Mother Teresa lived an exemplary life, she faced up the horror of poverty and hopelessness and was dedicated to serving the needy,” Zoltán Pokorni, the mayor of District 12 where the statue was erected, told the ceremony.
