Hungary’s Juvenile Population Record Low, Seniors Record High

The Central Statistical Office’s (KSH) “micro census”, conducted a year ago, has recorded the lowest number of children and the greatest elderly population in the history of such surveys, KSH reported on Monday. In 2016, Hungary had some 1.4 million children under 15, compared to nearly 2.3 million after WWII.
