The Budapest Capital Regional Court sentenced the former minister to a suspended prison term of two years for misappropriation of funds in allocating and selling a ministryowned apartment to Fapál in 2005- 2006.

The four-star Oxigen Hotel & Zen Spa, located at the village of Noszvaj, near Eger, northern Hungary, has been voted the world’s most beautiful forest hotel in the World Luxury Hotel Awards competition. The hotel’s success in winning the “Oscar Prize of the hospitality industry” is spectacular because no Hungarian establishment had previously been awarded the prestigious recognition.

Hungary’s Mád-based Holdvölgy winery won a gold medal at Asian Decanter Asia Wine Awards (DAWA) 2015 with its vintage Vision 2013, a dry white wine selection, marking a milestone for the Mád wine region in the history of dry Tokaj wines, according to an announcement issued today.
