Magyar Nemzet reports that offshore companies brokering the sale of the bonds have made between HUF 74 billion (USD 255 million) and HUF 95 billion (USD 328 million) since the program was launched three years ago.

Choral conductor Peter Broadbent and architect Sándor Váci have been awarded the Order of Merit of the Hungarian Republic, Officer’s Cross at an event marking the Day of Hungarian Culture in London. The awards granted at the Hungarian embassy are to recognise their work promoting Hungarian culture and Hungarian-British relations in the UK.

World and Olympic champion swimmer László Cseh and world champion swimmer Katinka Hosszú have been elected Hungary’s Athletes of the Year 2015 by the country’s sports journalists.
