The jury lead by Borislav Andjelic gave a Special Jury Mention to the Finnish director, J.-P. Valkepää’s They Have Escaped.

The National Tobacco Sales Nonprofit Company (NDN) announced another tender for tobacco sales concessions. The tender is the sixth called for concessions since Hungary introduced a state monopoly on retail tobacco sales in July of 2013. It is for concessions in 490 communities.

Hungarian writer László Krasznahorkai is among the ten nominees for the 2015 Man Booker Prize. This year, the jury selected writers from ten countries – authors from Hungary, Libya (Ibrahim al-Koni), Mozambique (Mia Couto), Guadeloupe (Maryse Condé), South Afrika (Marlene van Niekerk) and the Republic of the Congo (Alain Mabanckou) are among the select ten top literary figures for the first time.
