By 6.30pm on Sunday, 68.13 percent of all voters, over 5.36 million people, had cast their ballot in Hungary’s parliamentary election, according to the National Election Office (NVI).
Turnout in Budapest was 72.75 percent, it was lowest (63.55 percent) in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County, in the northeast. The NVI did not report a turnout figure at 6.30pm four years ago.
