Pest county police have contacted the Hungarian Kayak-Canoe Federation regarding the two athletes who were suspended after tests revealed that they had taken cocaine. The Federation yesterday decided to throw the two, five-time world champion Tamara Csipes and Bence Dombvári, off the national team.

Publimont, a billboard and vehicle advertisement company controlled by Lajos Simicska and Zsolt Nyerges, has rejected a campaign commissioned by gay dating website Melegrandi, news website Origo reports. The ad campaign would be the first in Hungary directly targeting the gay community, Melegrandi head Péter Weiler told Origo.

The incident occurred after the FTC-Újpest first-division game at the Puskás Ferenc Stadium on September 22, 2013 in the presence of nearly 1,000 fans and police.
