The Erkel Theatre will re-open for a trial run in early March as its Ft 1.8 billion renovation is still under way, culture state secretary László L. Simon told reporters on Thursday. The theatre will not be officially dedicated until November 7, the birthday of composer Ferenc Erkel, and Hungarian Opera Day.
