Főzdefeszt Opens Its Base In Budapest On Friday, 26 April
Nice to have a craft-beer revolution in Hungary, but what is a revolution without a cool hide-out? After years of wandering, Főzdefeszt has found a base for the revolution, and named it YEAST (that’s what Élesztő means in Hungarian). We never thought of craft-beer revolution as something that is only about beer, so Élesztő will incorporate quite a few things besides good craft beer. We aim to become a non-official new gastro-street, with apartment-restaurant, craft-palinka place, home-brew school and hostel and else.

However, this weekend we are opening the brasserie-part of the house with 17 types of Hungarian craft beers from 17 taps, and a few beerpremieres – like Hopfanatic Splash, an american-hopped lagerbeer, or Distant Galaxy, the Grand Champion of the 2nd Hungarian Home Brew competition.

The opening weekend starts on Friday, 26th April, 18:00, and ends on Monday night with a special Tilos Rádió Folkmusic Birthday Party. Please come and test what we think is a unique craft-beer place in Central Europe!
