Home owners filed claims with their insurers to cover over HUF 7.5bn of damages caused by severe storms early in the week, the Association of Hungarian Insurance Companies (MABISZ) said.

Since 2004, the unique Ozora Festival has been held every year on Dádpuszta in Fejér County, within the administrative boundaries of the village of Igar, not far from Ozorá in Tolna County. The week-long psychedelic music and arts festival attracts around 30,000 visitors from all over the world.

Hungary’s foreign ministry has summoned Ukraine’s ambassador to Budapest after Ukrainian conscription officers beat a Transcarpathian Hungarian man who later died of his injuries, the ministry’s parliamentary state secretary said on Thursday.
