A public park should be created on the brownfield site next to Budapest’s busy Nyugati railway station rather than the planned National Centre for Circus Arts (pictured on top), a lawmaker of the opposition Párbeszéd party said.

Year after year the Yvette Bozsik Company addresses the youngest audience in the language of dance. Following the Ladder Tales, the Magic Circus, Peter and the Wolf, the Best Tales from the Arabian Nights and Coyote Dancing with the Stars, this time, at the request of the National Dance Theatre, we will stage at the Heritage House a dance adaptation of a classic tale, Puss in Boots.

50th Anniversary Online Gala Show Of Budapest Grand Circus

After the demolition of the former building, Budapest Grand Circus reopened to the public on January 14, 1971.
At the 50th anniversary of the reopening a spectacular gala show is organised featuring great Hungarian artists.
The gala can be follwed live on the circus’s Facebook page on January 14, 2021 from 7 p.m.

This première by the Ballet Company of Győr will be an adaptation for dance theatre of Anna Karenina, one of the most famous romances in literary history, staged by Seregi Award- and Harangozó Award-winning choreographer László Velekei.
