Real estate developer GTC will, in the coming weeks, launch a 21,500 sqm office building investment, referred to as White House, on Budapest’s Váci út, GTC Commercial Director Bori Gedai announced at a press conference.

According to Hungarian investigative journalism portal Átlátszó.hu, the 2017 FINA World Championships to be hosted in Budapest in 2017 will cost Hungarian taxpayers at least HUF 90 billion (USD 323 million), of which HUF 52 billion (USD 192 million) is to be spent this year alone.

The programme series showcasing heritage buildings dubbed Budapest 100 will focus on the history of Budapest’s Grand Boulevard (Nagykörút) this spring, the organisers said. The project will be held for the 6th year on April 16-17. This year buildings can be entered regardless of their age.
