Spider Climbing Club Opens In Budapest

This unique sports hall has around 100 climbing routes of different difficulty levels. So both beginners and professional climbers can find their own training level, the longest climbing route is 13.5m. Besides the traditional routes a Speed Wall is also available for 'spidermen'.

Bonfire Night in Budapest went with a real bang on 5 November 2009. British Ambassador to Hungary Mr. Greg Dorey (pictured), guest of honour at this XpatLoop.com event, started proceedings with an informative and entertaining speech about this UK tradition, aka Guy Fawkes Night, to a packed house at the local InterContinental Hotel.

Yep, late January, time for the separate Burns' Suppers throughout Budapest, where there's a choice for every taste and wallet. Well over 100 expats attended this networking event which featured fine Dutch food treats flown in the same day from Holland, cooked up by the team of Ulf Burbach the Executive Chef of the host hotel, the InterContinental Budapest.
