Twenty-seven ethnic groups from twelve countries will be represented at this year’s “Kurultáj Tribal Convention of Hun and Turk identity nations” to be held in Bugac, in south-central Hungary, on August 12-14. The biannual Kurultáj is a meeting of peoples of nomadic origin from the Central Asian steppe held to celebrate ancient Hungarian traditions.

Hungary and South Korea have agreed to launch direct flights between their capital cities this summer. Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó told a press conference that over the first phase of cooperation, Asiana Airlines, South Korea’s second biggest carrier, will operate one flight a week between Budapest and Seoul from the beginning of July to the end of August.

Zsuzsanna Végh said that the immigration office had warned the European Union multiple times that the Balkan route would be a significant one for illegal migrants, but EU decision makers failed to take the risk seriously.
