Last week I beat an Olympic champion at tennis. OK, an ex-Olympic champion. A water-polo ex-Olympic champion. And it was Wii tennis (the video game). And he’d never played before. But a win’s a win, right? It was at a fantastic event which the Embassy supported. On February 26 Team Heart - Seedling Trust’s initiative for charity running model in Hungary - had the thrill of organizing an unprecedented event in Hungary, maybe even the world! Our 'Send Winter Away Run' mobilized more than 326 Hungarian and 24 expatriate runners and groups across Hungary and from as far away as Australia to run to raise funds for disabled children.

"The Government has approved an equestrian programme named after ‘Kincsem’, the historic Hungarian racehorse. This programme aims to develop the Hungarian equestrian sector and ensure its sustainability, integrating national equestrian education culture, horse riding tourism, stud farms, equestrian sports, hippotherapy and horse racing.
