“Viktoria - A Tale of Grace and Greed” is a feature film, produced with Swiss money, which captures the dramatic ins and outs of Hungarian prostitutes working the streets of Zurich. “Hello Schatzi, jössz fickizni? [will you have sex with me?],” is a phrase in a mixture of Hungarian and German languages one gets to hear on streets of Switzerland’s cities, where local Johns request a bit of sex.

One week, 19 concerts, 14 towns, thousands of people. Following its community week in June, the Budapest Festival Orchestra again intends to give free concerts all around the country, taking music to people who rarely get to concert halls or have never been to a classical music concert.

In 2014 the Annual Service of Remembrance will be held on Sunday, 9 November. The traditional service and wreath-laying ceremony will take place at the Commonwealth War Cemetery of Solymár at 10:55. Everybody is welcome to attend the ecumenical service. Those who do are kindly requested to arrive at the cemetery no later than 10:45 please. The service lasts approximately 20 minutes.

Six people were taken into custody by police for trespassing at the Fidesz party headquarters after an antigovernment demonstration on Sunday. Police questioned them in connection with vandalising the headquarters of the ruling Fidesz party near Heroes’ Square following a mass demonstration against the government’s new internet tax plans.
