In 2015 CEU Business School and the CEU Department of Economics, in cooperation with IBM, will launch a new one-year Master’s of Science Program in Business Analytics. Nine Titles Compete In Titanic Film Festival Budapest

Nine films from Norway, Sweden, France, Iceland, Turkey, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile and the US are competing for the Breaking Waves main prize of this year’s Titanic International Film Festival in Hungary. The head of the international jury is multi-award winning Hungarian filmmaker János Szász. Irish black comedy Calvary opened the festival on April 4.
Hungarians Go To The Polls To Elect A New Parliament

Today Hungarians vote in free, multi-party elections for the sixth time since the fall of Communism in 1989. They are doing so at the conclusion of an official six week campaign period during which time there has been virtually no public discussion or debate of issues other than which party or parties can best be relied upon to further reduce household utility bills.

Fidesz–KDNP: This coalition won a two-thirds majority in parliament four years ago. The two parties put themselves under a single roof in 2006 and are keeping it that way in the upcoming elections. FYI: the KDNP is really an extra in this play.
Hungary Climbs On World Bank Logistics Ranking

Hungary ranked 33rd of 160 countries on the World Bank’s fresh biennial Logistics Performance Index (LPI). Hungary ranked just behind Poland and the Czech Republic on the list. It advanced from 40th place two years earlier.
