Hungarian students finished in last place among European countries and in 29th place among 34 countries in digital text comprehension, according to a PISA survey conducted in 2012. The results were released only now because Hungarian researchers did not believe that pupils here are so weak. According to the report, Hungarian schools use outdated computers and internet access is limited.

Pascal Dombis (FR) completed his video installation titled The End(less) at the premises of BAF during his May residency. The piece will be broadcast in the evening hours on May 29, 2015 6-8. pm. at the Project Space of BAF.

The number of chain-smokers in Hungary has increased, reports Hungarian newspaper Magyar Nemzet. According to the data provided by the Central Statistical Office, while the number of cigarette smokers decreased from 31 percent in 2009 to 29 percent in 2014, the number of chain-smokers increased in 2014 to 28 percent of all smokers from 27 percent in 2009.
