An upgrade of Hungary back to investment grade by ratings agency Fitch on Friday is a result of economic reforms the government started in 2010, Economy Minister Mihály Varga said at a press conference on Saturday. The upgrade is evidence that the Hungarian economic restructuring has been a success, that the Hungarian reforms are working, Varga said.

The government plans to build a test track for, primarily, driverless cars, in Zalaegerszeg, in western Hungary, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán announced on Thursday. Speaking at the “Cars of the Future” conference at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Orbán called the test track a major investment, “the like of which cannot be found” within 500 kilometres of Hungary.
