Around 2,600 businesses applied for 3pc credit in the framework of the Széchényi Card Programme in the first two weeks after rates on the subsidised credit were reduced, the state secretary for SMEs said at a press conference.

Those businesses applied for about HUF 140bn of loans, Richard Szabados said.
