"With a history stretching back several decades, the Szentendre Summer Festival is a series of general art events. Streets, squares, churches, gardens and courtyards all provide venues for theatre performances, concerts, films, exhibitions, traditional and children's events in this atmospheric little town. The series of events take place until the end of August.

"The number of festivals is continuously expanding in Ráday utca. In 2000, first in the line was the Plein Art- Festival of Contemporary Arts, which was a new colourful spot in addition to the traditional Ferencvárosi Nyári Játékok (Ferencváros Summer Festival) and the Ferenc napi búcsú (Ferenc Day Fair).

"This annual festival, organized by National Dance Theatre, pays tribute to the art of dance in every April honouring International Dance Day. It introduces new Hungarian productions of the spring season, hosts outstanding foreign companies and includes a ceremony awarding the best artists in Hungarian dance of the past year.
