Hungary’s supreme court has ruled that a section of the 2013 municipal decree restricting the use of public spaces by the homeless is in breach of the law. The court known as the Kúria has asked for a constitutional review of the decree, which was issued by the Municipal Council of Budapest at the end of last year.

Hungary will contribute an annual 500,000 dollars to the Afghan military and police between 2015 and 2017, the foreign affairs spokesperson said on Monday. Anna Nagy referred to Hungary’s participation in Afghanistan’s reconstruction between 2006 and 2013, as part of a NATO mission, and voiced the government’s commitment to further support stabilisation in that country.
