Is it a bird, a plane, or an exotic supercar? A new Hungarian made concert piano, developed under the inspiration of Kossuth Prize-winning pianist Gergely Bogányi, was recently presented to the press in Budapest. The sleek, futuristic Zengafons piano, which would not look out of place on the set of Star Wars, will make its public debut at the Budapest Academy of Music.
Long Empty Culture Complex Opens In Budapest

The Pest riverside cultural and commercial complex that has sat empty since it was completed in 2010 was opened on Friday. The building, formerly known as CET, and renamed the Bálna (“Whale”) has been a victim of a dispute between its developer and the city of Budapest.

In a binding ruling, the Capital Court of Appeals said that project manager Porto Investment and main developer WHB consortium must hand over the CET cultural complex in the Ninth District, which has been sitting idle for two years due to financial disputes between the local government, WHB consortium and Porto Investment.
