Noah Steinberg, the CEO of developer WING, said the investment responded to the need to expand the airport's capacity and strengthened WING's position in the hotel industry.
The hotel boasts 167 rooms, a conference room with capacity for 150 and a seventh-storey sky bar. It is connected to the ibis Styles Budapest Airport which WING opened in 2018.
The hotel will be operated by WING and Accor.
The TRIBE Budapest Airport Hotel was designed by Aspectus Architect. The structure was built by Swietelsky Magyarorszag, Bernecker put on the finishing touches and este'r partners completed the interior design.
The hotel is TRIBE's second in the capital: the TRIBE Budapest Stadium opened two years earlier.
WING has 5.5 million square metres in its development portfolio, in Germany and Poland, in addition to Hungary.
