Super Sweet: Hungarian Aszú Among 'Best in Show' at Decanter World Wine Awards

A sweet “6 puttonyos aszú” wine made in 2019 by the Gizella winery in the Tokaj region has been selected to be among the 50 Best in Show wines at this year’s Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA), one of the world’s most prestigious wine and champagne contests, the Kreinbacher Estate said.

Rather than the classic sushi affair, the Japanese restaurant in Óbuda had turned into a pop-up dinner dedicated to Japanese-fusion cuisine featuring the talents of two Hungarian chefs Róbert Kemény and Dénes Dlusztus, good friends since chef school, but currently working in London and Bergen, respectively.

While it’s possible to eat macarons at many places around town, currently Chez Dodo is the capital’s only macaron shop, meaning an establishment where only macarons and coffee are available.
