The average gross wage in Hungary rose by 10.6 % year on year to 343,469 forints (EUR 1,070) in January, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said. Net wages grew at the same pace, reaching 228,407 forints.

While about half of employees engage in sports regularly, about 74% of Hungarian employers fail to provide any kind of support for sporting activities for their workers, and only 31% of employees have the opportunity for sports at or near their workplace, according to research by jobs website Profession.hu.
