The Government is expected to submit a bill to Parliament in September on final regulations regarding life imprisonment without parole, Parliamentary State Secretary Róbert Répássy said on 18 June 2014. The bill will include issues such as pardoning, he said, adding that a new law on procedures for pardons was also required because the criminal code dealt with this “very narrowly.”
