An agreement on the preparation of preliminary plans for revamping Budapest’s metro line 3 was approved by the Budapest City Council general assembly today. The agreement earmarks 1.2 billion forints (EUR 3.9m) from the local council budget for the revamp and the northern extension of the line. The total costs of the construction this year are projected at 361 million forints.
