Celebrating 75th Anniversary of Vietnam - Hungary Diplomatic Relations

On the evening of April 29, 2025, in a solemn and warm atmosphere in Budapest, the Embassy of Vietnamin Hungary held a formal ceremony to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Hungary (February 3, 1950 – February 3, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025).

This year’s annual British International School Budapest charity gala was celebrated at the Budapest Marriott Ballroom on the banks of the Danube. The event had a 1920’s Gatsby theme.

The 'National Cheese Contest of European Nations' was organised for the first time in Hungary by SZEGA Foods, in their new ‘Covent Garden’ style delicatessen, in the basement area of Budagyöngye shopping mall. They could subsequently taste the cheeses during the wine festival too.
