A temporary exhibition dubbed “Risking their lives - Poles saving Jewish people during the Holocaust” was opened in the Holocaust Memorial Centre in Budapest. The exhibition was organized by the Polish embassy and the Polish Institute in Budapest and assembled by the Museum of the History of Polish Jews (Polin Museum) and the Polish Foreign Ministry.

Celebrated Hungarian pianist, conductor and composer Zoltán Kocsis, who died at age 64 on November 6, was buried in Budapest on Saturday. The late artist was paid final respects at the Hungarian Academy of Music.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said that the outcome of the US presidential election presents an opportunity to “change things for the better”. Speaking at a press conference in Niš, in southern Serbia, on the occasion of a joint cabinet meeting between Hungary and Serbia, Orbán said that “things will improve” under the incoming administration.
