Hungarian Film Wins Grand Prix At Top Portuguese Festival

Hungarian director Károly Mészáros’s first cinema film, the absurd romantic comedy Liza, The Fox-Fairy, has won the main prize and the award for the best visual effects at the thirty-fifth Fantasporto international film festival, held in Porto, Portugal. It is the first time in the festival’s 35-year history that the main prize, named Fastasporto Grand Prix, has gone to a Hungarian movie.

In this unusual line up, these musicians combine their distinctive instrumental skills and sound, wrapped up in brilliant short pieces, which are shaped on stage. They actually create an atmosphere in which both the audience and the musicians go with the flow of the moment.
