The Embassy of Ireland, in cooperation with the Széchenyi Academy of Letters and Arts, is organising a screening of In the Name of Peace: John Hume in America. The documentary film, directed and produced by Maurice Fitzpatrick, looks at Nobel Laureate John Hume’s successful pursuit of peace in Northern Ireland through his co-operation with senior politicians in the United States.
