Hungarian football team Vác FC recently won 3-2, against Bölcskei SE, to the delight of expat owner and chairman Mr. John P. Marshall (pictured on left, with previous British Ambassador to Hungary Mr Jonathon Knott). This game was packed with goals as the video below shows, for the record the match scorers were Gulyás (2'), Kószás (22'), Pölöskei (35') and Miskovicz (9'), Tóth (19').

Berlin-based football club Hertha BSC could offer Pál Dárdai, lead coach of the Hungarian national football team, a two-year contract and six-figure salary as head trainer if he succeeds in keeping the team in the Bundesliga as temporary coach, the German tabloid Bild reported.

Car maker Audi announced on Saturday that it has cancelled its sponsorship contract with football club Gyõri ETO, due to the scandal of the Quaestor financial group. Quaestor owns the sports club, as well as its stadium, and the attached shopping mall and hotel.
