"Ethiopian marathon-man Herkolo Ashenafi won the ’25th Spar International Budapest Marathon and Running Festival’ in the men’s category with a time of 2:23:13 on Sept 26, 2010. The reportedly 42.2 kilometre annual marathon this year took place in rainy weather, in Budapest.

"During the 11th September Festival, which will be held on 3-5 September 2010, internationally recognised master chefs, world championship dance groups, Olympic and world champion sportsmen and women, politicians from the European Parliament, famous artists and – as in every year – 80,000 visitors are expected at the festival to listen to music, dance, cook and take part in competitions.

"Treehugger Dan’s has just begun cooperation with Budapest’s hottest cooking school, supplying Makifood with organic Fair Trade spices for their classes. I have never been to a cooking class, and the Elle Power Women Salon recommended that I try taking cooking classes to meet single women of my age, so I thought I would check it out.

Dr. György Bárándy is one of the most distinguished lawyers in Hungary. Born in 1919, his family made a living from agricultural activities on their land in the vicinity of Törökszentmiklós, in the Northern Great Plain region of central Hungary. He completed his legal studies in the Collegium Juridicum, Foglarianum in Eger, and obtained his doctoral degree in Kolozsvár (Cluj-Napoca).

Katherine Zibell is still somewhat of a newcomer to the city, arriving in June of this year. Even so, she was recently elected to serve as Marketing Chairwoman for the Professional Women's Association (PWA) of Hungary.
