Around 250 guests, a mixture of expats and Hungarians, attended the 12th annual Budapest Burns Supper at the Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal on Saturday evening. The traditional Scottish event marks the birth, life and work of Rabbie (Robert) Burns, who would have been 250 this year, and has become known as the national bard of Scotland.

A good mixture of expat and Hungarian guests, around 250 in total, attended the 12th annual Budapest Burns Supper last Saturday evening.

As these snapshots show, this Xmas event treated the lads from Budapest Celtic and a bunch of other expats to karaoke at The Caledonia and then live music at Roctogon basement club, both on Mozsár street in the 6th district of Budapest.

Autumn is one of the Swedish capitals most beautiful and seasons. It's a pleasure to simply stroll down one of the city’s colourful tree-lined streets, to walk along the waters edge to inhale the fresh air, and explore one of Stockholm’s parks to take-in some Scandinavian serenity.

This road trip from Hungary to Croatia is highly recommended for its varied and spectacular scenery, flying there is always an option too. ‘The Pearl of the Adriatic’ is located on the coast in the far south of Croatia. The seaport that today is called Dubrovnik has always been a maritime trade hub.
