Lately I have been struck by the high number of incidents, often resulting in death, involving relatives or people living in the same household. A daughter kills her mother, an 85-year-old former high-ranking police officer kills his 79-year-old wife, a professional soccer player kills his partner and her son in a family dispute. These are only three cases I remember from the last two weeks or so.

After ten years of renovation, the Liszt Academy of Music will reopen on October 22, the Ministry of Public Administration and Justice announced on Tuesday. The reopening of the famous institution, founded in 1875, will also mark the 202nd birth anniversary of its founder, Franz Liszt. The academy nurtures the cultural heritage of Franz Liszt, Zoltán Kodály, Béla Bartok and Ernő Dohnányi.
EU Funds Worth 60 Billion Forints Available For Healthcare In Hungary

Hungary is starting hospital developments with about 60 billion forints (EUR 200m) in European Union support, Minister of State for Healthcare Miklós Szócska said on Sunday. Almost 50 billion forints will go to at least 60 institutions to help them take on new responsibilities after a re-allocation of tasks last year, he stated.
