Benczúr Garden Evenings: Free Series Offers Varied Summer Entertainment in Budapest

This year’s Pentecost Heritage Festival at the Skanzen Open-Air Ethnographic Museum in Szentendre will spotlight folk traditions, sustainability, and dance on 8–9 June. German bass Georg Zeppenfeld originally trained as a music and German teacher, and only then began his singing studies.
According to his own admission, it was not easy for him or his voice teacher, because the Westphalian dialect is not necessarily suitable for opera singing. However, their joint work proved successful, and Zeppenfeld now performs the most important roles.
