The New Year’s Concert is a highly successful tradition of several years standing at the Palace of Arts. Hungarian nature photographer Réka Zsirmon has won an Honorable Mention in the nature category at the National Geographic Photo Contest 2013 for her image entitled Flying Egrets. The main prize went to Paul Souders’ image Ice Bear at the awards ceremony in Washington at the end of last week.
